At the moment, the employment of the foreign worker in Poland is done for two main reasons:
- Simplified procedure
Citizens of other countries can legally work on the basis of Certificate issued by the employer:
On the basis of a certificate to the foreigner in the Polish Consulate at the place of residence will be issued a visa with the code “05”.
- On the basis of a work permit
An employer who intends to hire workers from Ukraine, need to give priority to write a letter to the provincial Wand permit for employment.
After considering the application and verification of the register of unemployed personnel, the Governor issues a positive or negative decision.
This decision, in practice, may be issued up to 30 to 60 days.
